Pump structure:

Disassembly and assembly

Due to the use of the extended coupling, it is not necessary to remove the inlet and outlet pipelines, pump body and motor when disassembling the pump. Only the intermediate coupling in the extended coupling is removed to remove the rotor components for maintenance and repair.

1. Remove the drain pipe plug on the pump body and the drain pipe plug on the suspension body to drain the liquid in the pump and the lubricating oil in the suspension body. (Note: if there are additional pipelines on the pump, they should also be removed).

2. Remove the connection between the pump body and the intermediate bracket, and withdraw all rotor components such as the middle bracket, suspension components and pump cover from the pump body.

3. Remove the impeller, impeller and key.

4. Withdraw the pump cover from the shaft together with the coaxial sleeve, mechanical seal end cover and mechanical seal. Pay attention not to make the shaft sleeve slide relative to the pump cover, and then remove the mechanical seal end cover, remove the mechanical seal and shaft sleeve together, and then disassemble the shaft sleeve and mechanical seal.

If packing is used for sealing, the shaft sleeve can be directly removed from the pump cover, and then the packing gland, packing and packing ring can be removed successively.

If the seal is of special structure, attention should be paid to different disassembly methods.

5. Remove the middle bracket and suspension bracket.

6. Remove the pump coupling and key.

7. Remove the dust disks at both ends of the suspension body and the front and rear covers of the bearing, and then remove the shaft and bearing from the suspension body.

8. Remove the bearing from the pump shaft.

Starting, running and stopping

1. Preparation before starting

1) Clean the pump and the site before starting.

2) Check whether the amount of lubricating oil in the bracket is appropriate (the oil level is about 2mm from the center line of the oil level gauge) and whether the oil level gauge is in good condition.

3) Before connecting the coupling, check the steering direction of the prime mover, and connect the coupling after it is consistent with the steering arrow of the pump.

4) After the mechanical seal or packing and coupling are installed, the pump shaft can be turned by hand, and there should be no collision and the protective cover of the coupling should be installed.

5) When the pump is used under suction condition, the pump should be filled or vacuumized before starting; when the pump is used in the case of reverse filling, the pump should be filled with the delivered liquid before starting, and the gate valve of the discharge pipe should be closed after the air in the pump is expelled.

6) Check whether the foundation screw is loose before starting. Whether the gland is skewed and the supply of lubricating oil and cooling water.

2. Start up

1) Close the inlet and outlet pressure (or vacuum) gauge and outlet valve (if there is bypass pipe, it should also be closed at this time). Start the motor (it is better to start the formal operation only after inching and confirming the pump steering is correct.) Then open the inlet and outlet pressure (or vacuum) gauge. When the pump reaches the normal speed and the instrument indicates the corresponding pressure, slowly open the outlet valve and adjust to the required working condition. When the discharge pipe is closed, the continuous working time of the pump shall not exceed 3 minutes.

2) Pay attention to the power reading of the prime mover and the vibration of the pump during the starting process. The vibration number should not exceed 0.06 mm. The measuring position is the bearing seat.

3) Sealing condition: the mechanical seal shall be free of leakage and heating, and the packing seal shall be in continuous trickle state.

3. Operation

1) Frequently check the heating of pump and motor (the temperature rise of bearing should not exceed 75 ℃) and the oil supply of oil level gauge. (generally, the lubricating oil should be replaced once every 1500 hours of operation).

2) Do not use the suction valve to adjust the flow rate to avoid cavitation.

3) The pump should not be operated continuously at the flow rate less than 30%. If it is necessary to operate continuously under this condition, a bypass pipe should be installed at the outlet to discharge the excess flow.

4) Pay attention to whether there is noise in the operation of the pump. If abnormal conditions are found, timely eliminate or stop the pump for inspection.

4. Stop

1) Slowly close the gate valve of the discharge pipeline (if the pump is used in the case of backflow, the gate valve of the suction pipeline should be closed), and the switches of various instruments should be closed.

3) If the seal adopts external drainage, the external drainage valve should also be closed.

4) If the ambient temperature is lower than the freezing point of the liquid, the liquid in the pump should be drained to prevent cracking.
